Parallel to Krenek's work as a composer, he also developed a career as a lecturer. In university lectures, at programme introductions before concerts or in radio broadcasts, he shared his historical and technical understanding of music with listeners in various forms, explaining Beethoven's masterpieces as well as developments of the 20th century up to composition with computers.
A selection of lecture manuscripts and typescripts from the archive of the Ernst Krenek Institute are made available here in a digital edition.
