Huidiri: Yodeling workshop with Hartwig Hermann

From April to September, Salon Krenek opens its doors once every month for an evening yodeling workshop. Krenek’s affinity for the mountains and Austrian folk music inspired us. The yodeling expert Hartwig Hermann teaches the course with simple yodels in which everyone will find their place. No two voices are alike, they are an expression of our self. The shared experience of singing is unsurpassably beautiful.

No previous knowledge necessary.

COURSE DIRECTION
Hartwig Hermann grew up in Styria and moved to Vienna in 1998. He has been intensively involved with yodeling since 2007. He has been active as a teacher for several years and has been organizing yodeling regulars in Vienna since 2014.

Veronika Grossberger s a freelance music educator and has worked for the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Philharmonie Köln, the "Acht Brücken Festival", the "Tonspuren" in Irsee, the Pädagogische Hochschule, the Jeunesse and Salon Krenek, among others. She completed the choral conducting course with Otto Kargl at the St. Pölten Conservatory.
