A famous alumnus and honorary member of the mdw

On the occasion of Ernst Krenek’s 120th birthday, there is an article about Ernst Krenek by Clemens Zoidl in the online edition of the magazine of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The composer not only studied counterpoint and composition with Franz Schreker at the then Imperial-Royal Academy of Music and Performing Arts, but also became an honorary member on his sixtieth birthday in 1960.
