"Die 'WZ' und das Prinzip Hoffnung" (The 'WZ' and the Principle of Hope)

An article by Andrea Reisner on a review by Ernst Krenek of Ernst Bloch's "Erbschaft dieser Zeit" (Heritage of our Time) from 1935 appeared in the 7 January 2022 issue of the Wiener Zeitung's history feuilleton "Zeitreisen".
From 1934 until Austria's annexation by the German Reich in 1938, Krenek regularly wrote articles on a wide variety of topics in the Wiener Zeitung, including book reviews, travelogues and also critical reflections of his time.
