Modular Synthesizer Ensemble

With the modular synthesizer the analogous forms of synthesis become tangible and easy to understand. It opens up a variety of sound possibilities with intuitive and creative approaches to electronic music.
The Modular Synthesizer Ensemble consists of the fix instrumentarium of twelve modular synthesizers. The workshop is guided by Gammon, a musician and music mediator who has been working with synthesizers since the 1990s. Participants receive deep insights into working with modular synthesizers during the one-day workshop: participants experiment, improvise, and develop sounds, noises, and sequences for their own compositions.

Ernst Krenek’s modular synthesizer from 1967 is introduced as well.
