Ernst Krenek Forum at the Long Night of the Museums 2017

Saturday, 7 October 2017 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The Ernst Krenek Forum is open to all interested parties again this year under the auspices of the Long Night of the Museums. In addition to various stations where one can participate or try things out, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Dr. Antje Müller will give a tour through the exhibition that surveys Ernst Krenek’s diverse activities and works, and presents the stations of his life in the twentieth century within the context of society, politics, and music. The workshop “Abenteuer Erschließung” – from Palm Springs (USA) to Krems is again on the program: at 7 p.m., together with the art and culture historian Dr. Barbara Margarethe Eggert from the Donau-Universität Krems, the basic tools and working methods of archivists will be introduced and explained. Whoever wants to make music, we can suggest the workshop “Echoes from Austria”: at 8 p.m. there will be folk song singing together with the music educator Veronika Großberger.

We look forward to seeing a large number of you!
