Unchained – the Ernst Krenek Institute opens its doors

Open house at the Donau Universität, Krems

On 6 October 2017 the Donau-Universität Krems opens its doors with a diverse program for adults and children. The Ernst Krenek Institute is participating again this year and offers glimpses into the Institute’s many areas of activity. In addition to interactive stations at which difficult handwritings are to be deciphered, or composing can be attempted on a musical clock, the workshop “Abenteuer Erschließung” will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. In this workshop, the basic tools and working methods of archivists, which is anything but dusty and dry, will be introduced and explained on the example of Gladys Krenek’s legacy, which recently arrived in Krems from Palm Springs.

We look forward to seeing you!

Friday, 6 October 2017 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Ernst Krenek Institute, Donau-Universität Krems, Dr. Karl Dorrek Strasse 20, 3500 Krems
