New-Objective Avant-Garde: Suites ca. 1920 by Paul Hindemith and Ernst Krenek

Our new series of events starts in October! Musical, intellectual, and culinary delights will be in the offing here. In an informal atmosphere, musicians and scholars will discuss various aspects of the life and work of Ernst Krenek, who in addition to his compositions also left behind an extensive number of literary works, and whose broad range of interests is a source of astonishment even today. Our guests can listen to the presentations over a glass of Krems wine, which Krenek celebrated in the Travel Book from the Austrian Alps, but are also invited to ask questions, to participate, and join in the discussion.

The series starts on 19 October with pianist and musicologist Siegfried Mauser.
